I created the Harbour support package for parents and carers whose pre-teen or teenager is experiencing period pain and other symptoms that don’t feel “normal” and are beginning to disrupt daily life.
The package combines a practical guide with two one-to-one online support sessions, designed to help you ask questions, advocate on your young person’s behalf, and feel more confident supporting them.
Across the UK, many young people face long waits for appointments and, too often, have their concerns dismissed when seeking help for menstrual pain.
My own teenage periods were excruciatingly painful, and it took more than ten years before I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. Since then, I’ve supported hundreds of women of all ages who have faced similar challenges. I know how worrying and invalidating it can feel when pain is dismissed as “just period pain” or “part of being a woman.”
If a pre-teen or teenager in your life is struggling, being informed can help you ask questions, advocate on their behalf, and feel more confident in the support you give them.
The package costs £85🎗️
You’ll receive:
~ A 5-page downloadable guide packed with clear, practical information to help you recognise when symptoms may need further investigation, understand what to expect from scans and medical assessments, and feel prepared for GP appointments and school discussions.
~ Two 60 minute online sessions, personalised to your family’s situation, giving you space to ask questions, explore possible diagnoses and treatment options, and build confidence in supporting your child and communicating with medical professionals.
~ An optional email check-in offering reassurance and support as you put things into practice.
🎗️£10 from every booking is donated to Endometriosis UK (Registered Charity Nos. 1035812 and SCO51651), supporting their work to improve menstrual-health awareness and care across the UK
